James Montee

James Montee has spent his legal career helping injured individuals and their families. James represents victims of automobile accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, construction accidents, product liability, slip and fall, and medical malpractice.

James is a lifelong resident of Kansas City and attended Center High School. James started his legal career as a law clerk to Missouri Supreme Court Judge William Billings. After his clerkship, James worked for the largest law firm in Oklahoma, before returning to Missouri.

James started the Montee Law Firm in 1996 with the goal of helping accident victims and their families. Since then, the Montee Law Firm has recovered over $300 million in verdicts and settlements for its clients.

James has personally handled dozens of high-profile cases that resulted in verdicts or settlements of over a million dollars, and takes pride in maximizing the recovery for all clients of the Montee Law Firm.
