AMANDA BLACKWOOD

Amanda is a skilled litigator and experienced trial attorney. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in jury trials in federal and state courts. Amanda has recovered millions for her clients and is proud to advocate for individuals who have been injured by the negligence of others.

In 2021, Amanda was named an Up & Coming Lawyer by Missouri Lawyers Media. This honor recognizes early-career lawyers who demonstrate professional excellence while making a positive impact on their profession and communities. Amanda also has been named a Civil Top 40 Under 40 by National Trial Lawyers, a professional organization composed of the top trial lawyers from each state or region.

Amanda graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. Before returning home to the Kansas City area, Amanda spent several years working in Washington, D.C., where she represented the District of Columbia in constitutional and complex litigation. During that time, she was recognized with an award for a Special Act or Service to the District of Columbia.

Amanda is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Association of Women Lawyers of Kansas City.
